Baking is FUN!

oops! i haven't been updating my blog for more than a month!

sorry guys, i was kinda lazy and busy. =)

i will try to update more often.
i know i had said this many times before, and it did not happen. XD
but i........ will....... TRY..... =p

i was very busy last few weeks with school stuffs.
homeworks, tests, presentations....
all came together. Zzz
it's not over yet, but almost.
at least i still have time to do other things.

I baked a few cakes during these two months.
i was watching a show called 'Come Dine With Me' on tv,
few people take turns to host a dinner in their house,
and they have to make a three course meal.

it got me interested in baking. =)
so i went and find some recipes, and start baking.

18th october:

Muffins with chocolate filling.

the chocolate inside should actually melts, but it didnt.
next time maybe should melt the chocolate a little first. =)

19th october:

Pavlova. (decorated with cream and strawberry)

it was tooooooo sweet..
need to reduce the amount of sugar next time. =)

20th october:

Apple Cake.

this was delicious. =)
but maybe a little overbaked at the top part.

6th november:

Carrot Cake.

i didn't eat this, cause i don't like carrot cake. XD
but my mum say it's quite nice because it's not so sweet.

14th november:

Mother Monsen Cake.

maybe too much lemon.
mum said it's quite sour,
but i think it's not very sour, and it's delicious. =)

My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox

hehe..

didn't update for so long.
i was busying......
watching shows! XD

The best one is 'My girlfriend is a nine-tailed fox(gumiho)'!!

Synopsis:
Cha Dae Woong accidentally releases a gumiho,
a legendary fox with nine tails that eats the livers of humans.
He meets a pretty girl who is the gumiho he released.
When Dae Woong finds out about what he did,
he must try to keep her happy and hide the fact that she is a gumiho from everyone.
However, because Dae Woong has gumiho's bead (or marble) that saved his life,
he has no choice but to let her stay with him.
As the story goes on, the legendary gumiho (later called Miho) wants to be human.
Miho is informed by a veterinarian named Park Dong Joo (who is also not a human) that she must drink his blood to become a human in 100 days,
while Dae Woong will have to keep her magical fox bead meanwhile.
Moreover, Dae Woong will not be able to date anyone else but gumiho within the 100 days.
However, Dong Joo doesn't tell Miho that in 100 days,
in order to become human, Dae Woong must die.
Trouble brews when Miho and Dae Woong eventually fall in love.


the story is so interesting,
Miho(the nine-tailed fox)'s personality is so cute..
everything is just a very good combination..

The guy is kinda cute. ^^
i actually don't think that he's cute when i first watch the show,
but when the show goes on, i realized that he's actually quite cute,
especially when he smiles. ^^

The girl is pretty too..
and because of the character in the show,
she need to have very light make up,
which shows her natural beauty.
and i like her nine tails, it's kinda pretty.. =p

Their songs... Ahh, love their soundtracks.
every korean drama series has nice songs..
this one also..
you can feel the sadness,
and the strong feeling when the song appears.

Watch it if you have time. it's really nice. =)

editing of the light is different too..
but i think the first one colour is nicer,

weather nowadays......
COLD!!!

well, it's not so cold if u compare to winter,
but it's only autumn now,
and the weather is almost the same like winter.
freaking cold!
and it's getting colder and colder..
very easy to get sick. aih

nothing much is happening to me..
just schools and homeworks.
well, quite lot of homeworks actually.
okay, not in a mood to talk about homeworks though. heh

The meaning of 'Melanie'

have u ever wonder what your name means?

that day my teacher was talking about old norwegian names..
and he gave us a website where people can check the meaning of their names,
but that's a norwegian site, so can't really find english name there.
so me & my fren went to check the meaning of our names on other websites.

so.. here's mine.

Melanie is a feminine given name derived from the Greek μελανία (melania), meaning "dark".

Should i be dark?! but everyone knows that i'm fair..LoL
well, the meaning seems not so nice,
but i still love my name very much.
and everyone calls me 'mel', which sounds kinda cute too.. =D

I'M BACK!

I'M BACK IN MALAYSIA!!

first time travelling alone,
yeap. it's kinda scary.....
but everything goes smoothly,
and i'm back safely. =)

My cousin, grandma and aunt came and fetch me.
then came home and bath,
then went out to eat roti canai. =)
i ordered milo ais too.. hehe. (my fav)

then, for dinner,
went to restaurant and ordered different dishes.
miss those foods so much,
have not eaten those chinese food for 2 years!!

well, tomorrow will be going out with friends.
it will surely be a good time hanging out with them =)
miss them so much!

because of draw in the first match,
our bet go over to the next match, and doubled.
draw again, so go over to next match, and tripled.
and the last match, i WON!
so i got a driver for 3 days,
and have to pay for my meals for 3 days too! =P

this morning everyone was sitting at the canteen,
waiting to hear who is chosen for oral.
when we knew that we're not chosen,
everyone SHOUT like crazyyy.. haha
no more stress already! =)

today is my bro's birthday.
i made a cheesecake for him.=)
i was so happy and satisfied of the result.
very beautiful + delicious. hehe..

Well, i wasnt chosen for mon & thurs...
so that means.. tmr is the last one.
I SERIOUSLY HOPE THAT I WON'T BE CHOSEN! =S

then, i cleaned my room,

I'm F***ing stress + scared.
didn't update blog for a week!
because i had Maths test on last friday,
so i was busy practicing.
The test was freaking hard. Argh!
then now, i'm scared becausee....
Science is driving me crazyy!!
i'm having Science exam on tuesday.
it's the most important exam for the whole year.
DaMn! so many chapters to study,
and... all in norwegian...
and... i hate CHEMISTRY and PHYSICS parts!
next friday, GEOGRAPHY test!

Addicted to....... SIMS 3!

No class today,

because yesterday is pentecost(a christian feast),
and it's public holiday the day after pentecost. =p

Well...... i did some homeworks and studied a little.
but just got so lazy when it comes to study. hehe..
and nowadays i'm addicted to Sims 3.. =p
study mood? no more.. LOL!

Had lasagne on Sunday.
